Who Is Prof. Dr. Serhat İmamoğlu?

Prof. Dr. Serhat İmamoğlu is an ophthalmologist who graduated from the English Medicine Program of Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine and completed his residency in ophthalmology at Beyoğlu Eye Training and Research Hospital.
He has more than 20 years of clinical, surgical and academic experience in glaucoma, cataract and refractive surgery. He served as a specialist physician, chief assistant and associate professor at the Ophthalmology Clinic of Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital, where he contributed to the training of many ophthalmologists. During the same period, he also acted as a mentor in the Glaucoma Unit, providing training in the diagnosis, follow-up and surgical management of glaucoma to ophthalmologists from universities and training and research hospitals across Türkiye. Prof. Dr. İmamoğlu received the title of professor in 2025. He continues his professional work through international scientific publications, academic studies and clinical practice, and currently sees patients at Zincirlikuyu Medicana Hospital and Altunizade Batıgöz Hospital.
