If cataract is mild and does not significantly affect the patient\u2019s daily life, it may be followed with regular examinations.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #333333;\">Surgery is considered when cataract begins to interfere with daily activities such as reading, driving, working or recognizing faces, or when it prevents evaluation or treatment of other eye diseases.<\/span> <h2><span style=\"color: #333333;\">When Is Cataract Surgery Performed?<\/span><\/h2> <span style=\"color: #333333;\">The timing of surgery is determined individually.
